Brett P. Standley, 37, died Sunday, October 29, 2017. Born in Ohio, Brett proudly served in the US Marines. A very bubbly and outgoing person, Brett loved his step-children as if they were his own. He had a degree in Culinary Science and loved to cook and always enjoyed time out on the water.

Survivors include his wife, Katrina Standley; his step-children, Scartlet Rosa T-Holman and Mark S. T-Holman; his parents, Polly and John Standley; and his sister, Sarah Standley-Supernaw.

The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions, 2609 Cunningham Drive, Hampton. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment with Marine honors will take place at 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Albert G. Horton, Jr. State Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk.
