Brenda Trogdon, 65, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017. Born in West Virginia she was a Newport News resident.

Brenda is survived by her children, Triva Lantto, Elijah Howell and Kenneth Howell; her mother, Mattie Oberman; three brothers, grandchildren, Kristy Lantto and Kenny Howell; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Churchill.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 8, 2017 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home 245 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton with interment to follow in Peninsula Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-6 at the funeral home.
