Brenda K. Moore, 58, passed away Friday, September 20, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton and graduated from Pembroke High School.

She is survived by her mother, Betty L. Childress, Son, Shawn Moore; Sisters, Cindy Venable (Buddy), Crystal Bryant (John); Brothers, Doug Childress (Donna), Howard T. Childress III; Granddaughter, Hannah Moore; Godson, Trayvon Johnson; Niece, Courtney Joyce (Travis); Nephews, Joshua Venable (Danielle), Jonathan Venable, Zachary Childress, Tyler Sinclair; Five Great Nephews, Brayden, Carter, Beckett, & Coby Venable, Ryker Joyce.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard T. Childress, Jr; and her longtime partner Daniel Harper.

The family would like to thank Dr. Mitchell Shiffman and the staff of Bon Secours Liver Institute of Hampton Roads. As well as, the staff at Mary Immaculate Hospital Care Center who expertly and lovingly cared for Brenda over the last year.

The family will receive friends from 9:30-10:30 AM, Saturday, October 5 ^th at First Presbyterian Church 514 S Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23669. Followed by a celebration of life service at 10:30 AM.
