On Sunday January 28, 2018, Brenda Scott Hutton, wife, mother, grandmother, and daughter passed away at home. Brenda was born June 17, 1949 and spent most of her life growing up in Hampton. Brenda will be forever remembered by her family and many friends for her love of life.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Tommy Hutton; daughter, Dr. Tami H. Garmany and husband Dr. Rick; and grandsons, Sam and Ben.  Brenda is also survived by her parents Kyle and Marie Scott and sister Debra.

Brenda was interested in and supported many activities and organizations: Harris Creek, Pembroke and Hampton Roads Garden Clubs; the Junior League of Hampton Roads; Kecoughtan Literary Circle; Hampton Library; Hampton History Museum; Junior Women's Club; her Lunch Bunch and "THE BRIDGE CLUB". All of this while raising two children, Tami and Tommy.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 514 S. Armistead Ave, Hampton with a reception to follow in the church fellowship hall.
