Hampton, Jackie Hinson, 69, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 25. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Brenda S. Hinson; brother, Billy Hinson Jr. and wife Laura; sons and daughters-in-law, William Christopher and Darci Hinson, and Chad E. and Kathy Thompson; grandchildren, Christopher, Skye, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Cheyenne and Amber; and great-grandson, Jameson.
