Brandy Shay McManamy, 26, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton.

Surviving are her Mother, Donna Handle(Kenny) sisters, Jessica Artis (Chris) and Renee Clements; Father, Robert E. McManamy and brother, Daniel Schmidt.

In the final month of her life she finally found true love with Joesph Smith.  She derived ultimate pleasure from her nieces Courtney and Kayla and her nephews Caleb, Trey and Jaxson; whom she loved to play tricks on their mothers and her own as she had a wicked sense of humor.

Although her life was short,  she made a large impact everywhere she went and on everyone lucky enough to have known her.  She enjoyed eating, selfies, dogs, singing, time with her family and her newfound soulmate Joe and let us not forget purple flowers. Her compassion was immeasurable as was her temper.  In conclusion she loved life and life loved her!

The family will receive friends from 6-7:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2018, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home in downtown Hampton. Immediately following at 7:00 PM, a memorial service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel.
