Bonnie Baker, an ardent Washington Redskins fan, died January 3, 2014, after a tough, but losing, battle with lung cancer. Bonnie was convinced that if the Redskins had followed her advice, shouted from her couch in front of the TV, they would be headed for the Super Bowl.

Bonnie was born in New York City January 28, 1964. She graduated from Christopher Newport University and specialized in Art Education. Upon graduation she moved to Coeur d' Alene Idaho where she lived until a few years ago, when she returned to Virginia.

Bonnie was pre-deceased by her mother, Sheila (McKernan) Baker. She is survived by her son, Keegan Baker; her father, Aubrey Baker; her sister, Robin Weisbrod; her brothers, Scott Baker and Reid Baker and numerous nieces and nephews.

To honor Bonnie's memory, if you smoke, please quit. If you have a loved one who smokes, please convince him or her to quit.
