- Bobby Dewayne Gandee, 60, died Monday, March 7, 2016. A native and lifelong resident of Hampton, Bobby graduated from Bethel High School in 1974 and worked as a bricklayer. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, George Dwight Gandee, and is survived by his wife, Elaine Gandee; children, Jeremy Colin Gandee and Kelta Cyphers; mother, Mary Ellen Gandee; sister, Dwendolyn Price; brothers, Stanley Dwight Gandee and Christopher James Gandee and five grandchildren. Interment will be in Clinton, North Carolina. Arrangements by R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
