Billie Brown Wehmer, 82, widow of Ivan Earl Wehmer, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014. A lifelong resident of the Peninsula, she was a banker in Hampton, retiring in 1987 from Sovran Bank as the Senior Vice President of Commercial Loans. She was also a member of First United Methodist Church in downtown Hampton.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Juani A. Wehmer; nephews, Forrest Flythe and Michael Flythe; Niece, Kimberly Usher; great-nephews, Scott Flythe, Gabriel Flythe, and Elliott Flythe; great-niece, Jessica Griffin; and great-great niece Jillian Griffin.

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, May 2, 2014 at Parklawn Memorial Park by Rev. Dr. Michael Nelson. The family wishes memorial contributions to be made to the Children's Sunday School at First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Queen St., Hampton, VA 23669.
