Betty L. Ward, 75, of Newport News, passed away on October 26, 2020.  She is proceeded in death by her husband Charles R. Ward; and survived by her son Randy Ward and his wife Diana Lynn Ward of Hampton; her grandsons Nick Ward of Colorado Springs, CO and Chad Ward of Hampton; two great-grandsons Jaedyn and Jordan; and companion James Hammer.   A graveside service will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, November 2, 2020 at Wilmot Cemetery in North Carolina.
