Betty Cecelia Bye Rose, 82, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Born in New Madrid, MO, she was a longtime Hampton resident and retired from Maida Development in 1992. She was an avid reader and enjoyed coloring books.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary L. and Howard Bye, her husband Ronald Vance Rose, her son, Michael Rose, and her siblings, Ruth Westley, Jane Hite, George Archie Bye, Richard Bye, and John Bye. Survivors include her children, Yelonda Darlene Fish, David Rose, Cheryl Lane, Ronald Rose and wife, Sharon, and Donna Haney; her brother, Joe Bye and his wife, Alma; thirteen grandchildren, Kristen Powers, Kari Townsend, Deborah Rose, David Rose, Jeffrey Lane, Charles Lane, Jr., Emily Boehm, Victoria Rose, Kayla Matherson, Jessica Lipscomb, Jennifer Haney, Donald Rose, and Kathlene Rose; and nine great-grandchildren, Leila, Alexander, Olivia, Brooke, Sayler, Noah, Jackson, Brody, and Cecelia.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Parklawn Memorial Park. Due to Covid restrictions only family may attend the service, however, it may be watched live by clicking here.
