Betty W. Blyth, 97, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, January 25, 2025.  Born in West Virginia to parents Robert and Georgia Willis, she had been a Hampton resident for many years. She loved the Lord and was always praying for family and friends. She reached out to all in need and was blessed to be able to open her home to anyone needing shelter, comfort or food. Betty worked for 30 years as an Office Assistant for Riverside Hospital.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas L. Blyth, Jr., son, Thomas C. Blyth; and brothers Robert K. Willis, Jr. and Donald Willis;  she leaves to cherish her memory, daughter, Patricia "Pati" Tutone OSG (Tony aka my favorite) and son, Robert K. Blyth (Denise); five grandchildren Bernie Blyth (Ami), Tommy Tutone (Su), Jason Tutone (Jessica), Daniel Blyth (Sandra), and Vega Blyth; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Friday, January 31, 2025 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton with interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1:00 - 2:00 PM.
