Betty B. Bell, 89, passed away on June 24, 2023. She was born in 1933 in Montgomery Co., Virginia and grew up in Blacksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake and her children, Richard, Terry, and Sherry. She is survived by her children Gary, Helen, and Andrea; her son-in-law, Garth; and her grandchildren, Tiffany, Brooke, and Josh. Her brother, Robert and sisters Louise, Bobbie, and Peggy also survive her.

The family would like to give thanks to both Riverside Palliative and Hospice Care for their support and care which allowed her to stay in her home until the end.

In honor of Betty's wishes, her remains will be cremated and there will be no service.

In lieu of flowers, plant some beautiful flowers in your garden. Betty loved working in her yard most of all.
