Betsy Ann (Draina) Flores, 99, died on June 14, 2024.  Betsy was the widow of Col (retired) Joe Bruton Flores and mother of Joellen Simmons (Rockport, TX), Bob Flores (Vienna. VA), Anne Loosigian (Andover, MA), and David Flores (Virginia Beach, VA). Bets was predeceased by another daughter, Patrice Chaney.  Other survivors include several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Betsy was born on January 16, 1925 in Hanover County, PA.  She was a devout Roman Catholic and the oldest living member of the St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church at Fort Monroe, VA.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:00 pm, Thursday, June 20, 2024 at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.

A funeral Mass and burial will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
