Betsy Jane Broxmeyer, 85, died Thursday, March 2, 2017. A native of Nash Co., NC, she was a longtime Hampton resident where she worked for Clyde's Restaurant for many years.

Preceded in death by her husband, James W. Broxmeyer; survivors include her daughters, Connie Dickinson and Carol Broxmeyer both of Texas; five sons, Jimmy Broxmeyer of Virginia, Robert Broxmeyer of PA, Thomas Broxmeyer of North Carolina, Kirby Broxmeyer of Virginia, and Joe Dickinson of Texas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Fox Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. or the Buckroe Volunteer Fire Company.
