Bethel Beryl Goddard Nystrom, 89, widow of Harold K. Nystrom, Sr, passed away, March 25, 2022.  Born in Pierson, IA, Beth was a resident of Hampton for over 50 years.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church Hampton.

Beth was preceded in death by her children, Debra Kay and Pamela Beth; and grandchildren, Daniel Lewis Nystrom, Asa Eric Nystrom and Marabella Inez Diaz.  She is survived by her children, Harold Kenneth Nystrom, Jr. (Angie), Theresa Jean Nystrom, Peggy Nystrom Benyo (Andy), and Toni Corrine Nystrom (Paul Dail ); sisters, Verda Joann Goddard Heise and Beverly Joy Goddard Gaber; brother, Kenneth Charles Goddard; grandchildren, Angela Beth Nystrom, Amanda Joy Nystrom Brantley, Harold K. Nystrom III, Emilee Ruth Nystrom Stevens, Erin Michelle Nystrom, Deborah Kay Nystrom, Jesse Rebecca Stagg Goodrich, Carmen Paige Stagg, Margaret "Meg" Stagg Atkins, Thomas Jonathan "TJ" Harman, Christopher Todd Harman, Katelyn Beryl Benyo, and Andrew D. Benyo III; and great-grandchildren, Danya Jones, Abigail Brantley, Benjamin Brantley, Lucas Nystrom, Allie Nystrom, Liam Nystrom, Averie Nystrom, Morgan Goodrich, Mallory Goodrich, Megan Goodrich, Easton Harman, Hunter Atkins, and Adelyn Atkins.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday at First United Methodist Church, 110 E. Queen St., in Hampton. The service may be watched live by clicking here after 3:50 pm Thursday. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr., Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA at a later date.
