Bentley Kirk Corniel (aka daddy's "Big Time" and mommy's "Little Turtle"), aged 5 months and 3 days, passed away in his parent's arms surrounded by his loving grandparents, and went to be with Jesus on March 17, 2020, at UVA Children's Hospital in Charlottesville, VA, after battling an undetected congenital heart defect.
Bentley is the son of Mason and Makayla Corniel. He is the answer to their prayers and a double rainbow baby. During his 5 joyous months here on earth he enjoyed singing with mommy, dancing with daddy, grabbing his doggy sibling faces, and his bath time. Bentley found his intent "focus face", his curious "mean mug" eyebrow curves, and his joyous laugh during his brief time before he went to see our Heavenly Father.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 23, at 11:00 AM at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
Bentley is survived by his parents Mason and Makayla Corniel of Hampton, VA, as well as many other family members including:
· Sisters: Mylie and Adleigh
· Grandparents: Kirk and Paula Corniel, Melody Todd and Doreen Nolan
· Great Grandparents: Janie Todd, Rosetta Bess and Barbara Davis
· Aunts and Uncles: Jacob Corniel, Adian Corniel, Justin and Kimberly Nolan, Brandon Nolan, Rayna Walthall, Makenzie Ross and Samantha Bennett
· Many cousins and other family members
