Belinda Simmons Privigyi, 62, died Saturday, November 7, 2015. Born in Burlington, NC, she had been a longtime resident of Fox Hill where she was a member of Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church and the Fox Hill Volunteer Fire Dept. Belinda had worked with Mercury Mulch, Empire Pipe and as a Hampton Police Officer among many occupations. Belinda is survived by her husband Glenn Privigyi; children, Michael G. Privigyi and wife Amy, Kristi Stewart and husband Ryan; grandchildren, Kali Privigyi, Jaden Privigyi and Ryder Stewart; sisters, Gayle Taylor and Bonnie York; brother, Reese Simmons; and eleven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ann Harden Simmons and Talmage Ray Simmons. A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Fox Hill Central United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
