Becca Bromley Whittington Massengill (age 57) of Gibsonville NC passed away peacefully from cancer on June 8th 2022 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.  She was born on September 29, 1964 in Jefferson WV., was raised in Buckroe Beach and attended Phoebus High School.

She was a loving mother of five beautiful children and devoted her life to taking care of them. Becca was known for her phenomenal homemade cooking and exquisite taste of a large variety of music. She had the most genuine heart and was always the life of the party. She took pride in her cozy, comfy home in Gibsonville NC. She enjoyed gardening, hummingbird watching and having all of her children and grandchildren come to visit. She was our social butterfly!!

She devoted her life to making everlasting memories with all of her family and friends.

Becca was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt.

She is preceded in death by her mother Ann Allen Demory and husband Rickie Alvin Massengill. She is survived by her five children, her sons, David Massengill of Newport News and Richard Massengill of Hampton, her daughters, Megan Massengill of Newport News, Taylor Massengill of Hampton, and Alexis Mason of Franklin Georgia; six grandchildren, Daymein Massengill, Carter Fulk, Jayden Massengill, Caius Howes, Christine Massengill, Raigen Critchfield and Layla Wiggins; her sister, Beth Arnder of Burlington NC; her niece, Mackinzie Arnder of Liberty NC; a nephew, Brandon Huertas of Howell, MI; and great nieces Rylee Dunn, Ava Dunn and Madelyn Dunn.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday June 29th 2022 at 1pm at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA and may be viewed live by clicking HERE. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 N. Armstead Ave., Hampton.
