Beatrice L. "Becky" Mason, 85, died Friday, December 29, 2023 at home due to a long-time illness.  She was born December 7, 1938 in West Virginia to George E. Martin and Velma Martin. She was a long time Hampton resident. She attended Hampton Church of the Nazarene for many years and was passionate about her many overseas mission trips. She was married to Henry Victor "Mase" Mason who passed away in 2016. They were married October 6,1956 and enjoyed each other for 60 years. He was the love of her life.  She worked for many years as a secretary at Langley Air Force Base before retiring. She was a talented seamstress who loved sewing and gardening. Survivors include: one sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Monday January 15  from 5:00-6:00pm. A graveside service will be held Tuesday January 16, at 11:00 am. Those that wish to attend will gather at the committal shelter between 10:45am and 11:00am at Albert G. Horton Jr. Cemetery in Suffolk, VA.
