Barbara F. McLain, 71, passed away August 14, 2017 at home in Hampton. A native of Indiana, she had been a longtime resident of Hampton. Barbara was a dedicated member of Calvary Assembly of God, and loved arts and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Diane. She is survived by her loving husband Michael McLain and their daughter, Kimberly Shepard; sister, Patty (Gene) as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in her memory to the Cat Corner Animal Shelter, 85 Fulton St, Hampton, VA 23663.
