Barbara Ann Anderson Hackett, of Old Wythe Community in Hampton, VA, formerly of Cortland, NY, passed away on July 26, 2019 at the age of 74. Wife of nearly 50 years to A. Paul Hackett, she is also survived by two sons, Aaron of Hampton and Adrian and wife Leah, and their two sons, Andrew and Asher of Jackson, TN.

Born in Confluence, PA, Barbara was an ER nurse at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, an Industrial Nurse at the Quincy Shipyard, worked in Public Health and in real estate in Cortland, NY and finished her career as a Clinical Research Associate in Albany, NY. She volunteered in many organizations over her life, from her children's Cub Scout Pack, to a volunteer Fire Investigator, and for the Hampton Public Library.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday, August 9, 2019 at St. Rose of Lima and the Korean Martyrs Catholic Parish followed by lunch in the Parish Hall.
