Audrey J. Rogowski, 75, died Thursday, February 19, 2015. A native of Batavia, NY, she had been a Peninsula resident since 1970 where she retired from Sovran Bank as a Human Resource Manager. She loved to work in her yard, weekend retreats with friends, was an avid reader, and participated in water aerobics at the YMCA. Before her illness, she volunteered her time at the Mariners' Museum. She loved spending time with her dog, Bella. Preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Robert S. Rogowski and her brother, James P. McCormick, Jr.; survivors include her sons, Gregory Rogowski and his wife, Ellen of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Robert S. Rogowski, II and his wife, Mary of Odenton, MD, and Daniel Rogowski and his fiancée, Pam of Yorktown; two sisters, Charlotte Kirch and Debbie Monroe; three brothers, John, Gary, and Paul McCormick; and seven grandchildren, Gregory, Christopher, Shannon, Kayla, Susan, Joseph, and Aaron. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Monday, February 23, 2015 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church by Rev. Mike Joly. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
