Anthony "Bruce" Tringle was reunited with his heavenly Father on December 28, 2022.  Born in FL, he had been a Hampton resident since 1965 and a retiree of Dominion Power after 35 service years. Bruce is survived by his soul mate of 26 years Betty Shackelford; daughter Tammy; sons Patrick and Ryan Tringle; grandchildren; Kadrea, Michael, Aric, Aubrie, Karrigan, Wyatt, Beckett, Elliot, Charlotte, Maddox, Jackson, Addison.  Sisters; Donna Holumzer, and Rosemarie Wynn; brother Christopher Tringle; and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in homecoming by parents Alfred and Grace Tringle, brother, David Tringali; a sister; Cheryl Lynn Swift, son; Joseph Anthony Tringle, grandsons; Damian and Kadin.

Bruce was a faithful child of God who lived his life loving and anchoring his family and grandchildren.  He never met a stranger to converse with, he found peace landscaping in the outdoors, and excitement in football season.  He rests with His Father and as he often spoke of, in his new heavenly body.

Celebration of life will be held at 3 PM on Friday, January 13, 2023, at R Hayden Smith Funeral Home, Hampton, Virginia.
