Anthony John Masoero, 57, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2022.  Anthony attended the Seattle School for Journeymen and received his early formal training in the shipbuilding trades. Anthony also attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received a degree in business. He came back to his trade as a painter and worked at the shipyards in the Seattle, WA area and then in Hampton Roads area of VA.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father Arthur R. Masoero, his brother Arthur R. Masoero Jr., sisters Christina A. Benn, Carmen M. Masoero and Corrine S. Masoero.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Celeste Sue Masoero, nieces Alyssa A. Watt (James), Lauran C. Benn and nephews Arthur J. Masoero II (Gabrielle), Daniel J. Masoero and great nephew Liam Watt.

Anthony loved to paint, not only at work but on houses as well.  He loved time with his friends, boating, music and going to concerts. Elton John was his favorite.  He was a huge Seattle Seahawks fan and enjoyed going to games when he could.

A funeral mass will be held on October 8, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Saint Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church on Ft. Monroe in Hampton, Va.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church.
