Anne Nelson Scott Crowell, 92, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, with her son by her side.  Born in Crisfield, Maryland, she was the daughter of Walter W. and Rose Ellen Landing Nelson.  Anne had been a resident of Hampton for 75 years where she was a member of P.E.O and was very active in her church, First Presbyterian of Hampton since1953.

Preceded in death by her husbands, William Douglas Scott, Sr., and William Arthur Crowell; and her sons, Thomas E. Scott and Bruce N. Scott. Anne is survived by her son, Doug Scott and his wife, Suzy; daughter-in law, Kimberly Scott; grandchildren, Matthew C. Scott (Katie); Lindsay A. Farassat (Jaron), Curtis M. Scott, Kevin M. Scott, and Jesse D. Scott; and great-grandchildren, Molly Scott, Reed Scott, Kaycee Scott, Layla Scott and Juniper Farassat.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, August 5, 2023, at First Presbyterian Church, Hampton, VA with a reception to follow at the church; burial will be private.
