Anna Mae Anderson, 75, died Saturday, October 4, 2014. A native and lifelong Peninsula resident, she delivered newspapers for many years, enjoyed working in her flower beds, and working puzzlebooks. Preceded in death by her son, Robert Scott Anderson; survivors include her children, Patricia G. Watlet, Teresa A. Miller, John W. Anderson, V, Paula J. Hines, Paul E. Anderson, and Michael J. Anderson; her sister, Mary Coltrane; and six grandchildren, Nicholas and Matthew Watlet, and Brittany, Kylie, Alexis and Jason Anderson. The family will receive friends from 7-8PM Wednesday at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 in the funeral home chapel by Rev. Tommy Markham. Interment will follow in Hampton Memorial Gardens after which the family will return to the family home where family and friends are all welcome.
