Ann Marie Karpa died unexpectedly on September 10, 2023. She was 61 years old.

Ann was a graduate of Phoebus High School in Hampton, the class of 1980. She was a lifelong resident of Hampton.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved father, Charles B. Karpa. She is survived by her loving mother, Joanna B. Karpa, of Hampton; three siblings, Charles B. Karpa, Jr. (Pamela) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, David A. Karpa (Jamie) of Hampton, and Patricia K. Brzeski (Richard) of Yorktown; five nephews, Charles B. Karpa, III (Dawn), Andrew N. Karpa (Kathleen), Matthew R. Brzeski, Justin D. Brzeski, and Mark W. Brzeski; one niece, Amy M. Brzeski; one great-nephew, Ethan D. Karpa; and three great-nieces, Kaley S. Karpa, Grace I. Karpa, and Madison J. Karpa; and many cousins.

A Mass of the Resurrection was privately celebrated with family at St. Joseph Catholic Church by Rev. Dillon Bruce.
