Obituary

Ann Whiting Hill Suit died peacefully at her home in Williamsburg, Virginia on July 4th, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born to the late Charles Melton Hill, Sr. and Ann Elizabeth Guy Hill. Ann grew up in Hampton, Virginia and graduated from Hampton High School, class of 1957.  She continued her education at Longwood College in Farmville, Virginia and enjoyed a thirty five year career at NASA Research Center as a Planning Advisor. After her retirement from NASA, she enjoyed shopping, decorating and going to the beach with her husband and friends. Ann loved the Christmas season!

Ann was preceded in death by her parents and older brother, Charles Melton Hill, Jr.

She is survived by her husband of sixty years, William Tull Suit; a twin brother, William Guy Hill and wife, Mary Rogers; and a sister-in-law Mary Suit Adams and her husband Donald.

Ann is also survived by four nephews, William Guy Hill Jr. and wife Stacy of Antioch, Illinois; Benjamin Boyd Hill and wife Kristy of Blacksburg, Virginia; Michael Jackson Hill and wife Jennifer of Arlington Heights, Illinois; as well as Charles Melton Hill III of Italy and one niece, Martha Hill Brady and husband Rick of Surry, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held July 15, 2025 at St. John's Episcopal Church Cemetery in Hampton, Virginia at 11AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Ann's home church - First United Methodist Church of Hampton at 110 East Queen Street, Hampton, Virginia 23669 or to your favorite charity.
