Obituary
Allene Zareo, 92, died Friday, January 7, 2022. Born in Kinston, NC, Allene moved to Hampton in 1947 and was owner and operator of Sam's Barber Shop from 1968 to 2020.
Allene is survived by her son, Steve J. Zareo Jr; grandson, Chris Zareo; and great-grandchildren, Levi, Noah and Jacob.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Monday, January 10, 2022 at Hampton Memorial Gardens.
