Allen G. Zieber. III, 73, passed away on July 17, 2024.  He was born in Pennsylvania to parents Allen and Lydia Zieber.  Allen served in the Navy for eight years and was a proud plank owner of the USS Roosevelt.  Allen married his wife, Ruthellen, on October 20, 1972.  An avid recreational mechanic, he retired as a welder from the coal terminals in Newport News.

Preceded in death by his wife, Ruthellen Zieber; his parents; his brother Harry Zieber; and his beloved dog Bagel; he leaves to cherish his memory, son, Robert Zieber (Tami); grandsons, Gary and Joshua; great-grandson, Jackson; and sister-in-law Mary Zieber.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, Virginia.
