Allan W. Passaro, 71, died Monday, April 9, 2018. Born in McKeesport, PA, his family moved to Hampton when he was two. A longtime member of Pine Chapel Baptist Church, he served the church in many capacities and was just named Deacon Emeritus. He retired from Chessie Systems in 1985. Allan was an avid NASCAR fan, a Virginia Tech football fan, and a secret fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved to travel and especially loved family vacations and any time he spent with his family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Ruth Passaro; his sister, Cheryl Johnson; and an infant grandson; survivors include his wife, Janie Passaro; two daughters, Deborah Glasgow and husband, Mike and Tammy Weaver and husband, Richard; a brother, Jerry Passaro and wife, Rhonda; two grandsons, Allen Crumpler (Vicky) and Chad Martin (Tara Bowman); and many other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 PM Friday, April 13 2018 at Pine Chapel Baptist Church with a funeral service beginning at 2:00. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park.
