Adam Cooper, 46, died unexpectedly, on Monday, July 12, 2021.  Born in Georgia to parents Michael T. Cooper and Mary Davis, he had been a long time Hampton resident and was employed as a line cook at Parklane Tavern in Hampton.  Adam enjoyed listening to music, watching football and cheering for his team, the NY Giants; but above all, he loved his children and family.

Adam is survived by his mother, Mary Rowe; his children, Joel Hopper, James Hopper, Kayla Cooper, Joshua Cooper, and Jacob Cooper; grandmothers, Jeannette Cooper, and Sarah Cooper; brother, Benjamin Edington; sister, Melissa Cooper; and grandchildren, Joel, Adam, Christina, Reagan, Lily, and James.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton, VA.
