Obituary

Mrs. Ada Mae Goodnight Plott was born September 18, 1915 in Kannapolis, NC. She died in Hampton on October 17, 2014. She had lived on the Peninsula for around 68 years. She worked in the cosmetics department of Wythe, Boulevard and Beaconsdale Pharmacies. She was a faithful member of Wythe Presbyterian Church; active in Presbyterian Women and Sunday School until she became a resident of Coliseum Park Health Facility on April 15, 2008. Her husband, Samuel J. Plott, and all her siblings preceded her in death. She is survived by two sons, Frank M. Plott, of Hampton and Pastor Ted J. Plott of Shamokin, PA; four grandchildren and several great/great-great grandchildren. There will be a service of Committal at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10 at the Mausoleum Chapel at Parklawn Memorial Park conducted by the Reverend Mr. T Clint Mitchell of Wythe Presbyterian Church. Her ashes will be interred beside her husband's grave following the committal service. There will be a time of visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on November 10th. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Wythe Presbyterian Church 151 Robinson Road, Hampton, VA 23661.
