Aaron Louis King, 45, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 4, 2024.  A military dependent, he was born at Wright Patterson AFB, Ohio; and the son of CMSgt (ret) Ronald and Karen King.  He graduated from Tabb High School in 1997. He received a certification of Carpentry Apprentice Training in 2005.  Aaron loved to cook and was an excellent landscaper.  He enjoyed traveling, and his favorite destination was Las Vegas; and also loved spending time with his family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Louis and Lillie Mae King, and his maternal grandparents, Melville and Margurite Liggins.  Aaron leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Ronald and Karen Liggins King; brother, Eric King; sister Melanie King-Frenke (Michael); uncle, James "JL" King; aunts, Vannetta Liggins and Jacqueline Simmons; niece, Mya Frenke; and a host of extended family members, and close friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 19, 2024, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home, 245 S. Armistead Avenue, Hampton VA 23669.   Funeral services will be conducted at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Centurion Interdenominational Church, 54 Bernard Road, Fort Monroe, VA 23651, Pastor Lucious Morton officiating.  The service will also be live streamed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=57B3dcZXhKY .   Burial will follow at Hampton Memorial Garden.
